Il progetto europeo SUMCASTEC, finanziato nell'ambito della Call Future and Emerging Technologies (FET-H2020; 2017-2020), dopo otto mesi di estensione sta giungendo al termine (28 febbraio 2021). Il 9 e 10 Dicembre si terrà on-line il meeting finale di progetto
L'unità di Radioprotezione e Sicurezza Nucleare della Commissione Europea organizza ogni anno un seminario scientifico su temi emergenti in ambito radio-protezionistico affrontando in generale i nuovi risultati della ricerca con potenziali implicazioni politiche e/o normative. Il seminario scientifico 2020 tratterà il tema "Radiosensibilità" dei bambini - Problemi di salute dopo l'esposizione alle radiazioni in giovane età.
Si svolgerà on-line il MELODI Workshop dedicato agli effetti indotti da irraggiamenti disomogenei in termini di spazio e tempo (17-20 Novembre 2020).
La Divisione TECS contribuirà con due relazioni orali nella sessione "Partial body exposures":
1) Mariateresa Mancuso1: "Systemic Effects of Partial-body Exposure to Low Radiation Doses".
2) Simonetta Pazzaglia1: Out-of-field hippocampus from partial body irradiated mice displays changes in multi-omics profile and defects in neurogenesis
